Convicted Sex Offender: Mansoor Ahmed Jailed After Threatening Police Over Sexual Assault Mugshot
Perverted Sex Offender Mansoor Ahmed, Jailed after launching a hate-filled tirade because he was angry that details of his crimes and his custody photograph were made public.
A convicted sex offender & pervert has been returned to prison after spending 14 minutes on the telephone threatening to stab British Transport Police officers and throw acid in their faces.
Mansoor Ahmed, 31, of Blackthorn Avenue in North London, launched the hate-filled tirade because he was angry that details of his crimes and his custody photograph were made public following a previous conviction.
Ahmed called the British Transport Police (BTP) First Contact Centre at approximately 2:30 pm on Wednesday, May 27.
He provided the call handler with a reference number relating to his own case, which involved a BTP investigation into his sexual assault of two women on the London Underground in late 2020. During the ensuing 14-minute call, Ahmed repeatedly threatened graphic violence against BTP officers and stated he would attack them at railway stations.

He told the call handler: "I’m coming to stab all of you […] I’m coming to stab a transport police officer." Ahmed also made a series of sexually violent threats towards women and children before adding:
"When I find one of your transport police officers, I’m going to put acid on his face."
Following the call, detectives from the BTP’s Major, Serious and Organised Crime team launched a manhunt.
Ahmed was located and arrested in West London two days later on May 29. Upon his arrest and while being transported to custody, he continued to hurl abuse at officers and referred to them as "dossers".
During his subsequent police interview, Ahmed claimed that a "red mist" had come over him due to the publicity surrounding his convictions and the release of his mugshot. He admitted to being a criminal but told detectives he was "not evil".

The Crown Prosecution Service authorised the charges and Ahmed was remanded in custody. On July 3, he appeared at Inner London Crown Court where he was sentenced to six months in prison.
He had previously entered guilty pleas to charges of threatening communications, possession of cannabis and a public order offence
BTP Detective Constable Lee Smith described the threats as "frankly disgusting" and noted that Ahmed quickly changed his demeanour once he realised he was facing another stint behind bars.
Detective Constable Smith added that as a career criminal with a string of previous convictions, it was imperative officers caught Ahmed before he could harm police or the public, stating that the force will never stand for such horrific abuse.

Ahmed's anger stemmed from the publication of his custody photo and details following a separate court case regarding a string of attacks on the rail network.
On September 6, 2020, Ahmed sexually assaulted a woman as she walked up the stairs at Gloucester Road station. He fled the scene when the victim screamed but was subsequently identified by BTP and declared a wanted man.
On November 20, 2020, Ahmed struck again and sexually assaulted a second woman on the stairs at Charing Cross station. The victim immediately reported the incident to nearby officers, leading to Ahmed's arrest at the scene.
He was released under investigation but fled the jurisdiction to travel to Ireland. On May 27, 2021, Ahmed was re-arrested on a ferry returning to the UK via Holyhead.
Following guilty pleas to two counts of sexual assault, he was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court to 26 months in prison and handed a 10-year signature requirement on the sex offenders register.
