VPNews is committed to accuracy. We take all reports of errors seriously and respond to them quickly. If you believe we have published something that is wrong, please tell us — we will investigate every complaint and correct any factual error promptly and transparently.

How to request a correction

Email the editor at [email protected] with the article URL, the specific passage you believe is inaccurate, and the basis for your view (links to source documents, court records, or other evidence wherever possible). You can also use the contact form.

How quickly we respond

We acknowledge every correction request within one working day. The editor reviews the underlying source material — court transcripts, official statements, our reporter''s notes — and reaches a decision within five working days, or sooner for urgent cases (for example, where ongoing reporting may compound an error).

How corrections appear

When we accept a correction we update the article and add a dated correction note at the foot of the piece explaining what was changed and why. We do not remove articles or rewrite the underlying story silently. For significant errors of fact we also publish a standalone correction notice and notify the original complainant of the action taken.
