TikTok Pranksters Given Suspended Sentences Over Antisemitic Stamford Hill Stunt
Adam Bedoui and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub receive suspended jail terms after targeting the London Jewish community with a hateful fishing rod prank.
Two men who targeted the North London Jewish community to film a deeply offensive TikTok prank have received suspended prison sentences at Thames Magistrates' Court.
Adam Bedoui and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub travelled to Stamford Hill with the explicit intention of recording antisemitic content to gain online notoriety.
The stunt involved attaching a banknote to a fishing rod to "fish for Jews" by waving it in front of ultra-Orthodox members of the public, while simultaneously subjecting a Jewish man to verbal abuse.
The court records confirm the backgrounds of the two co-defendants involved in the targeted harassment.

Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, is 21 years old, date of birth of 26/02/2005, and shares the same residential address in West Drayton, Hillingdon.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, near Clapton Common. Members of the Metropolitan Police responded to the scene following emergency calls.

Three other individuals, including two aged 20 and one aged 21, were also arrested at the scene and remain out on bail pending further inquiries.
Working on out-of-hours shifts, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Direct reviewed the evidence gathered by the Met and authorized charges within 48 hours of the initial arrests.
Both defendants were formally charged with religiously aggravated intentional harassment, contrary to Section 31(1)(b) and (4) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, and intentional harassment, contrary to Section 4A(1) and (5) of the Public Order Act 1986.
Bedoui and Bousloub made their initial appearance at Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Confronted with the police evidence, both men entered immediate guilty pleas to the religiously aggravated public order offense.

Following the preparation of pre-sentence reports, the final sentencing hearing took place at Thames Magistrates' Court on Friday, June 5, 2026, where both men received suspended custodial terms:
- Adam Bedoui: 6 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.
- Abdelkader Amir Bousloub: 6 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.
The prosecution and police leadership condemned the actions of the defendants, noting that the pursuit of social media engagement served as a substantial aggravating factor in the case.
Varinder Hayre, Crown Prosecutor, stated that:
“These men deliberately targeted a member of the Jewish community and subjected him to antisemitic abuse in a public place, having filmed the incident with the intention to upload it to social media and amplify the harm caused to the victim.”
Detective Chief Superintendent Brittany Clarke of the Metropolitan Police added that:
“The men thought nothing of travelling to Stamford Hill so they could generate social media likes from hateful so-called content, warning that there is no place for antisemitic hate in the city and that the case carries a clear warning for anyone tempted to commit hate crimes in pursuit of online notoriety.”
The fast-tracked prosecution follows the recent deployment of the Metropolitan Police’s new 100-officer dedicated Community Protection Team, a specialized unit tasked with safeguarding high-risk religious neighborhoods across London.
