Andrew Tate Fan Karl Farr Jailed for 39 Months Over Coercive Control of Ex-Partner
An Andrew Tate fan Karl Farr has been jailed for 39 months at Bristol Crown Court for the coercive control and stalking of his autistic ex-partner.
An Andrew Tate fan and TikTok conspiracy theorist from South Gloucestershire has been jailed for 39 months after subjecting his former partner to a relentless campaign of controlling and coercive abuse that left her hospitalised and suicidal.
Karl Farr, 31, of North Common in South Gloucestershire, appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Friday where he was sentenced for controlling and coercive behaviour alongside breaching a non-molestation order against his ex-partner Katie Saunders.
The presiding judge, Recorder Brian Fitzherbert, handed down one of the longest permitted sentences for controlling behaviour after detailing Farr’s total disregard for the law, deliberate manipulation and systematic isolation of his victim.
The court heard that the relationship between Farr and Ms Saunders began in May 2023, but by the end of that year the defendant had become consumed by jealousy and control.

Prosecutors outlined how Farr, who subscribed to Hustlers University and the Real World, which are paid online courses operated by manosphere influencer Andrew Tate, peddled fringe opinions to thousands of social media followers while systematically exerting complete dominance over Ms Saunders' daily life.
Driven by his extremist views, the defendant forced his victim off her prescribed medication, fed her chlorine dioxide and deliberately isolated her from her friends and family.
During the hearing details emerged of how Farr exploited Ms Saunders' autism as part of his abusive strategy. The court heard that the defendant deliberately taunted his partner until she suffered severe meltdowns and shutdowns triggered by his behaviour.
Farr filmed these distress reactions and used the footage to blackmail her, threatening that he would present the recordings to authorities to claim she was unfit to care for her children if she ever reported his conduct to the police.

Ms Saunders addressed the court directly, explaining that the relentless stress caused her to suffer severe burnout and physical illness that resulted in hospital admissions, describing how she became a shell of her former self in a bid by the defendant to render her entirely submissive.
Despite Ms Saunders eventually ending the relationship, the court heard that Farr continued his campaign of harassment and stalking.
The defendant parked outside her home in an unregistered vehicle, sent an endless barrage of messages and repeatedly breached a legal non-molestation order that explicitly prohibited him from making contact with her.
In her victim impact statement delivered to the court Ms Saunders described Farr as possessing a God complex that left her living in constant fear and begging him to cease his torment, adding that his persistent taunting until she broke down completely was terrifying.

Recorder Brian Fitzherbert condemned Farr's calculated abuse and lack of regard for court orders, sentencing him to 39 months in prison. Alongside the custodial sentence, the judge issued a five-year restraining order to prohibit Farr from contacting or approaching Ms Saunders moving forward.
