An Afghan national arrested by British law enforcement officers in London has been extradited to Germany to face charges over the alleged gang rape of an unconscious 17-year-old girl.
Kambiz H, 25, fled German jurisdiction following the alleged attack in Dortmund before being located in the capital by UK authorities.
Following extradition proceedings in London, he was surrendered to German judicial authorities to stand trial alongside two co-defendants.
German prosecutors allege that Kambiz H. and two other men approached the vulnerable teenager at a bus stop in Dortmund in September 2024.
The victim was allegedly persuaded to return to a residential address, where she was supplied with alcohol until she lost consciousness.
