Siblings Jailed for Life After ‘Sickening’ Knife Murder in Kings Norton

A brother and sister who carried out a fatal knife attack in Kings Norton have been jailed for life.

Isaiah Marsh, 21, and Mya Marsh, 23, were each ordered to serve a minimum of 20 years behind bars for the brutal murder of Minister Enfrence, who was stabbed more than 20 times in a planned daylight ambush.

The violence unfolded on November 5 last year after Mya arranged to meet Mr Enfrence near her home on Medway Grove, following a falling-out over drug money. CCTV captured them in a heated row — she wanted to buy cannabis for £20 despite still owing him £200.

But Mya hadn’t come unprepared. She had brought a knife from her home on nearby Teviot Grove, ready to threaten or attack him if needed. Her brother Isaiah arrived moments later on a bicycle and launched the assault.

Although the graphic footage of the attack was not released to the public, it was shown to the jury during trial. Isaiah repeatedly stabbed Mr Enfrence in what the judge described as a “sickening” and “cold-hearted” act. At one point, Mya handed her brother a large knife that had fallen from the victim during the struggle — helping him to continue the attack.

Isaiah then rode home on his bike before later taking a taxi to his father’s house across the city. Mya was seen on CCTV clearing up the scene.

Mr Enfrence, 21, managed to stumble to a nearby home for help but collapsed and died from his injuries.

Today at Birmingham Crown Court, Judge Melbourne Inman KC sentenced both siblings to life imprisonment, saying their actions had shown a “nonchalant” disregard for human life.

Detective Inspector Dan Jarratt, of West Midlands Police, said:

“Minister’s murder has had a devastating impact on all who knew and loved him.

This was a brutal and cold-hearted attack in broad daylight. The vicious nature of the attack is highlighted by the number of wounds that Minister suffered.

The callous behaviour shown by the Marsh siblings afterwards further underlined their complete lack of remorse.”

The court heard that the killing followed an ongoing dispute, but investigators said it was clear that both defendants had planned the confrontation and were prepared to use violence.
