The sentence handed down at Bristol Crown Court comprises a 24-year custodial term followed by an extended licence period of six years.
Bennett, 30, of Corston, near Bath, was found guilty of two counts of raping a child under the age of 13, four counts of sexual assault, and two counts of sexual assault by penetration.
The defendant had previously entered guilty pleas to 13 additional sexual offences relating to four of the five victims involved in the case.
The court heard that the offences were committed against male children aged between two and three years old at the Partou King Street Nursery.

The prosecution established that Bennett commenced his role at the childcare facility in July 2024.
Internal investigations were initiated in February 2025 after a manager reviewed CCTV footage following reports from parents and staff regarding the defendant's conduct.
Digital evidence showed Bennett placing his hands inside the clothing of a child under his professional care, leading to his immediate suspension and subsequent arrest.
Witness testimony from nursery practitioners detailed how the defendant exhibited a territorial attachment to specific children and sat them on his lap for extended periods.

Evidence was also heard regarding the defendant frequently wearing trousers with holes in the crotch area while performing his duties at the nursery.
During a four-day trial, the jury was shown video-recorded interviews with two of the victims, identified for legal reasons as Child A and Child E.
