Mohammed Altaherhas been sentenced to twelve years’ imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court for the rape of a man in Milton Keynes.
The forty-one-year-old, currently an inmate at HMP Bure, was found guilty by a unanimous jury of one count of rape following a trial concluding last Wednesday.
The court imposed a custodial term of five years with an extended license period of seven years, to run concurrently with a sentence the defendant is already serving.

The defendant was interviewed voluntarily in November 2024 and subsequently charged by postal requisition in October 2025 following a Thames Valley Police investigation.
Legal records confirm that Altaher is currently serving a ten-year sentence imposed in 2023 for the rape of two men in Bedfordshire.
The previous investigation into the defendant’s conduct was the subject of a broadcast on the Channel 4 documentary series 24 Hours in Police Custody.
Detective Constable Hollie Cromarty stated that the sentencing reflected the seriousness of the sexual offences committed by the defendant.
