Wahid Bik, a 43-year-old resident of Solihull, has received a 22 year prison sentence (with an additional six years on license) for grooming and sexually assaulting girls between the ages of 13 and 14. He had searched out the victims while driving his car, speaking to them and offering them alcohol and drugs. He then subjected them to horrifying sexual assaults in his car.
Bik was convicted of rape, attempted rape, assault by penetration, and sexual assault at Birmingham Crown Court.
DC Charlotte Ford, from West Midlands Police's Public Protection Unit, said, “This was a series of appalling incidents in which Bik groomed vulnerable girls, earned their trust, and abused them."

The 28-year sentence handed out by the judge reflects the seriousness of these crimes.
