Transgender Khloe Simmonds Jailed Over Fake4 Rape Claims Campaign
Pre Sex change transger Khloe Simmonds, 26, has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years after making 12 false rape allegations against six innocent men in Harrow.
A 26-year-old pre-op transgender person has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison after embarking on a sustained seven-year campaign of deceit in which they falsely accused six innocent men of rape. Khloe Simmonds appeared at Harrow Crown Court where she was jailed by Judge John Lodge after being convicted of eight counts of perverting the course of justice.
The court heard that Simmonds made at least 12 bogus claims over the prolonged period, triggering multiple large-scale police investigations that drained vital law enforcement resources. At the peak of the offending, the defendant’s fabrications single-handedly accounted for two-and-a-half per cent of all rape and serious sexual assault allegations recorded in the Harrow area. Throughout the court proceedings, it was consistently noted that Simmonds is a pre-operative transgender person,
The devastating human cost of the false allegations was laid bare during the sentencing hearing, particularly concerning an Afghan national who was subjected to an 88-day police investigation based entirely on the defendant's lies.
The court was told that in July 2018 Simmonds falsely accused the man of following Simmonds and a friend back to a hostel before pulling a knife from his waistband, holding the weapon to Simmonds throat and committing oral rape.

In reality, the defendant had propositioned the man for sex and fabricated the grave allegations after he refused the advances. To falsify credibility and garner sympathy with investigating officers, Simmonds drew a detailed map of the location and referenced a previous false rape claim that they had made two months earlier.
Acting on the fabricated report, the police launched a comprehensive investigation that utilised forensics, fingerprints and sniffer dogs alongside formal notifications to immigration services. The profound distress caused to the innocent man was detailed in a harrowing victim impact statement read to the court. The victim disclosed that the false allegation caused his relationship to end, resulted in his brothers refusing to speak to him and drove him to attempt to take his own life on multiple occasions. Summarising the catastrophic damage to his reputation and mental wellbeing, the man stated that the ordeal had destroyed his life.
Prosecutor Ben Temple outlined a series of further false allegations made by the defendant, including an incident where a chef was accused of drugging and raping Simmonds after he allegedly became creepy during a Grindr date. Simmonds claimed to police that an attempt was made to deter the man by telling him that Simmonds' breasts were false and that it was not worth it.
When attending officers arrived at her home to investigate the serious claims, Simmonds deliberately ignored explicit police advice to preserve potential DNA evidence by smoking and drinking directly in front of them.

The reality of the encounter was vastly different to the defendant's police report. The court heard that the man had indeed arrived at the address for a date but left after no more than a brief hug, having been troubled by the severe mess inside the property. He informed investigating officers that upon his arrival, Simmonds was dancing and singing about whether she was going to get lucky, and that he had noticed the distinct smell of whiskey inside a beer can after he returned from using the toilet.
In another fabricated incident, Simmonds accused a taxi driver of rape, completely unaware that the vehicle was fitted with a black box telematics system. Digital data recovered from the device conclusively proved that the car had been travelling at a continuous speed of 25mph and had never stopped during the journey, instantly disproving the claims.
The irrefutable evidence led to Simmonds being arrested and subsequently released under investigation. During her police interview, Simmonds fully admitted the falsity of the allegation, conceding that the lies where told to officers to a high level of inebriation.
Mr Temple told the court that Simmonds referenced struggles with mental health issues, alcohol abuse and profound difficulties surrounding the whole gender transition, noting Simmonds had been seeking to transition for two years but the general practitioner had not granted approval. However, the defendant explicitly told interviewing officers that personal struggles were no excuse for the actions.

Despite these admissions, the defendant's behaviour escalated significantly. On 4 August 2022 and was arrested for a second time and released under investigation concerning 20 separate allegations of perverting the course of justice.
During this period, Simmonds subjected emergency services to a massive volume of contact, making 27 separate calls to the police in a single night, with one conversation lasting for 23 minutes. The relentless web of lies eventually concluded in January of this year after she made her 12th and final bogus allegation against a sixth innocent victim, leading to the prosecution that ultimately secured her conviction.
In mitigation defence barrister Dominic Benthall addressed the court regarding his client's complex medical background, confirming that Simmonds had been formally diagnosed with autism, ADHD and alcohol dependency. Mr Benthall argued that there was plainly an underlying mental health difficulty contributing to her persistent offending. The defence counsel compared the defendant to Carl Beech, the fantasist responsible for fabricating a Westminster VIP paedophile ring, submitting to the judge that Simmonds’ allegations were scattershot and unplanned rather than maliciously calculated.
Passing a custodial sentence of seven-and-a-half years, Judge John Lodge delivered a scathing assessment of the defendant's actions and the immense damage inflicted upon both the victims and the broader judicial system. The judge categorised the offences as a sustained pattern of established conduct rather than isolated incidents, noting that the defendant had demonstrated an increasing awareness of forensic techniques and investigative processes which showed she knew more and more about how such matters are investigated by police.
Judge Lodge highlighted the element of sophistication to the offences and the serious and distressing consequences endured by the innocent men whose reputations were baselessly attacked. Condemning the diversion of crucial public funds, the judge stated that the defendant's conduct caused a serious impact on the administration of justice as resources that should have been dedicated to investigations for genuine victims of serious crime were entirely redirected into investigating her false claims. Concluding his sentencing remarks, Judge Lodge issued a stark warning regarding the wider societal damage caused by such deceit, stating that false allegations of rape risk severely undermining public confidence in the criminal justice system. Simmonds will serve her sentence in a custodial facility determined by HM Prison and Probation Service guidelines.
