Tristan Tate has been charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
These newest charging decisions were finalized after the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit submitted a further file of evidence to the CPS Special Crime Division, building upon an initial investigation into allegations dating back to 2012.
Assistant Chief Constable Karena Thomas confirmed that officers from the major crime unit have been operating closely alongside national and international law enforcement agencies to advance the complex inquiry.
While acknowledging the significant public interest surrounding the case, she urged the public to refrain from speculation online to ensure that the legal process can be carried out correctly, reinforcing the police's commitment to thoroughly investigating all reports of male violence against women and girls.
