🔴 HOTEL HORROR: TEEN RUNAWAY GANG-RAPED BY DEPRAVED MIDLANDS BEASTS
Shocking convictions: Vulnerable teen lured from Birmingham streets, gang-raped in hotel by five men after days of twisted exploitation – justice finally served. Four men have been convicted following a five-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court of raping and sexually exploiting a vulnerable 16-year-old runaway girl who was lured into a BMW by two men, Arqash Zaffar & Mohammed Nadim, on Alum Rock Road, Birmingham, before being repeatedly abused across the Midlands and Greater Manchester.
The victim underwent a several-day ordeal which saw her repeatedly raped by Zaffar, supplied to Nassir for further rape in Manchester, and ultimately gang-raped by five men in a Walsall hotel room after Zaffar boasted of her availability. These have now resulted in sexual assault, rape, and modern slavery convictions for her abusers. Significant jail terms are expected.
A jury at Birmingham Crown Court convicted Zaffar of five counts of rape, four counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity without consent, and one count of facilitating travel with a view to sexual exploitation.
Nassir was convicted of one count of rape, Nadim of sexual assault, and Arif of facilitating travel with a view to sexual exploitation.
All defendants have been remanded in custody.
The convictions stem from events between July and August 2019, when the teenager, known to social services and reported missing from home, was first approached on Alum Rock Road in Birmingham.
Zaffar, nicknamed Mikey, and Nadim, known as Dimma, drove up in a BMW and asked for her phone number, which she initially refused before boarding a bus.
Days later, on the same road, they approached her again, persuading her to accept a lift to the city centre.
Instead, Zaffar drove to a secluded area where Nadim sexually assaulted her in the back seat, and Zaffar forced her to perform oral sex despite her protests and attempts to push him away.
The girl was then taken to Walsall, where Zaffar collected Arif, described by her as having a rat-like face.
Arif and Zaffar drove her to Manchester to meet Nassir, nicknamed Soldier, at his home in Denton.
There, Zaffar and Nassir raped her while cocaine was used in the property.
After the assault, Zaffar and Arif returned her to Walsall, where Arif had booked a hotel room using his own name, vehicle registration, and driving licence as identification, despite providing false details about the occupants.
This information later aided the police investigation.
Inside the room, Zaffar subjected her to further abuse with Arif present.
Zaffar then drove her to Birmingham to meet another associate, offering him the chance to stay with her and showing a hotel key, though the offer was declined.
That evening, Zaffar took her back to a Walsall hotel, telling her he had something for her.
Upon entering, she found four unknown men inside, to whom Zaffar had boasted about her sexual availability.
Zaffar raped her first, followed by each of the four unidentified men in turn.
The girl later told police Zaffar showed no mercy during the ordeal.
She hid in the bathroom beforehand, overhearing the conversation, but felt she had no escape.
Although she had told the men she was 19, prosecutors argued she lacked the freedom or capacity to consent, distinguishing mere submission from true agreement.
The teenager was eventually dropped near Selfridges in Birmingham after showing Zaffar a text about a probation appointment on her phone, which he controlled.
She returned home on 12 August 2019, disclosed the allegations to her social worker while extremely upset and feeling dirty, and requested a check for sexually transmitted infections.
She also wrote a journal as therapy, though discrepancies existed with her later police statements, and she was unclear on specific dates, recalling the trauma but not the timetable.
Police identified the men through phone records, hotel bookings, vehicle and insurance details, and automatic number plate recognition data.
During the trial, which opened in November 2025, prosecutor Tim Clark KC outlined the exploitation, noting the girl’s vulnerability and history of going missing.
All defendants admitted spending time with her but denied wrongdoing.
Zaffar claimed the initial encounter involved a flirty exchange of smiles, that she willingly entered the car, bragged about her sexual skills, and engaged in consensual acts.
He said he helped her because she was homeless, and called the allegations a possible set-up.
Nadim, Arif, and Nassir similarly denied the charges.
Detective Constable Stewart Garratt from West Midlands Police Public Protection Unit described the investigation as complex, involving multiple enquiries and partnerships.
He commended the girl’s bravery in reporting the offences.
Garratt noted the men took advantage of a clearly vulnerable teenager.
Specialist child abuse officers worked to identify them and secure justice.
West Midlands Police reiterated that survivors of sexual assault have lifelong anonymity and access to support services.
The force has dedicated teams investigating rape and serious sexual offences.
Sentencing will take place at Birmingham Crown Court on 19 March 2026.
