Wolverhampton rocked as detectives charge two men over a brutal 3am street shooting – a major breakthrough in a case that’s gripped the city & shocked the Midlands.
Police have charged a man with the murders of Duaine Mills, 28, & Syed Zain Ali, 32, who were shot dead in Leicester Street, Wolverhampton, at around 3.10am on 19 September.
Mohammed Maneer Khan, 38, was arrested yesterday after a major manhunt. He has now been charged with both murders, as well as attempted murder, two firearms offences, & fraud by false representation.
Khan is due before Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court this morning.

A second man, Yaseen Patel, 34, from Birmingham, will appear at the same court charged with assisting an offender.
Senior investigating officer Jenny Birch said:

Anyone who can assist the investigation is urged to call 101, quoting log 358 of 19 September.
