A 21-year-old man has been found guilty of manslaughter at Southwark Crown Court following a fatal stabbing in north London.
William Amadi, born on 30 August 2004, of Hermes Close, Barnet, was convicted on Friday, 17 April, for the killing of 26-year-old Ali Faris Muhammed.
The incident occurred on Sunday, 18 May 2025, following a verbal altercation between two groups at a shisha bar in Kingsbury Road, NW9.
The court heard that while security staff ordered the groups to leave the premises, a physical confrontation subsequently took place outside the venue.

Closed-circuit television footage showed the defendant fighting with the victim before delivering a single fatal blow with a knife.
The victim was taken to hospital by associates but died within one hour of his arrival.
Metropolitan Police detectives identified the defendant through the analysis of CCTV which showed him wearing a distinctive shiny black jacket and a New York Yankees cap.
Audio from the footage included bystanders shouting the defendant’s name throughout the evening.

The investigation established the defendant’s presence at the scene through bank card transaction data.
Forensic evidence confirmed that DNA from the victim was present on a cap belonging to the defendant.
A witness corroborated that the defendant was at the scene and was armed with a knife at the time of the assault.
The defendant had previously entered a guilty plea to possessing an offensive weapon in a hearing held ahead of the trial.
