🔴 Wanted drug dealer jailed after flushing down toilet
Isaiah Llewellyn, once jailed over a brutal stabbing, has now been locked up for six years after flushing crack cocaine when police raided his hideout. A Nottingham drug dealer with a link to brutal gang violence has been jailed for six years after twice being caught with Class A drugs while on the run
Isaiah Llewellyn, 27, was previously jailed for assisting offenders after an innocent man was mistaken for a rival gang member, stabbed repeatedly in the back and face, and left blinded in one eye. The attack occurred inside World of Drinks, an off-licence in Alfreton Road, in November 2020. Llewellyn admitted helping attackers flee the scene and was jailed in 2022.
Now, Nottingham Crown Court has heard how Llewellyn continued offending after his release, dealing crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis across the city.
The court was told Llewellyn was intercepted as part of a drugs probe on 13 May 2023 in Top Valley, when officers boxed in a Vauxhall Corsa he was travelling in. He fled on foot but was detained. Hundreds of pounds of cash and cannabis were found in his pockets, while wraps of Class A drugs were recovered from an underpass.
On 11 December 2024, officers raided a terraced house in Rosetta Road, New Basford, where he was living while wanted. Llewellyn tried to flush a package of crack cocaine down the toilet, but officers noticed his sleeves were wet and later retrieved the drugs from a blocked manhole outside.
Also arrested at the address was Martina Buckley, 31, who had heroin concealed on her person. She admitted possession with intent to supply heroin and received a 12-month suspended sentence.
Llewellyn pleaded guilty to multiple charges of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property.
Sentencing him on Wednesday (20 August), Judge James Sampson said: “You are a persistent street dealer. Despite previous prison sentences, you continued to supply Class A drugs, even attempting to destroy evidence when officers closed in.”
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
