🔴 DRUGS LINE BUST: DEALER & RUNNER JAILED IN WOLVERHAMPTON
County Lines gang smashed as Wolverhampton dealer & runner exposed by forensic phone data, caught with burner phones, cash & heroin stash in police raid.
Two men have been jailed for running a County Lines operation supplying heroin and crack cocaine into Wolverhampton, following a police investigation that dismantled the line and secured guilty pleas in court.
Amarie Haughton, aged 22, directed the network known as the 6363 line, which operated by sending bulk text messages to potential users when drugs were ready to buy. His associate, Brian Armstrong, aged 59, worked as the runner, delivering the drugs across the city between September 2024 and February 2025.
The pair were brought down after investigators from the County Lines Taskforce conducted forensic analysis of mobile phone data that revealed their activity. Both men were arrested on 22 February in coordinated operations that uncovered further evidence of the line’s activity.
When Armstrong was detained at his home in Glaisdale Gardens, officers recovered a mobile phone, approximately £200 in cash and a handwritten notepad containing names alongside money values. Haughton was arrested separately with a similar amount of cash in his possession. A search of his address in Hurstbourne Crescent led to the seizure of scales, SIM cards and a small quantity of crack cocaine. Officers also recovered a burner phone discarded in a bin cupboard, consistent with the operation of a county line.
The strength of the prosecution case meant that both men entered guilty pleas at an early stage to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine. They were sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 24 September, where Haughton received a custodial term of four years and two months, while Armstrong was jailed for three years and one month.
The case forms part of a series of outcomes under Operation Target, the West Midlands Police initiative aimed at tackling serious and organised crime. In the past year the force has seized millions of pounds in cash and drugs from organised networks and County Lines gangs, alongside securing custodial sentences against dozens of offenders involved in cross-border drug supply.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
