A 23-year-old man has admitted stabbing his landlord and a teenager during a knife attack in West London that left a dog walker dead.
Dawood Safi appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Monday via video-link from Broadmoor high-security psychiatric hospital to enter pleas to several indictments.
The defendant pleaded guilty to one count of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to his landlord, 45-year-old Shahzad Farrukh.
He further entered a guilty plea to a charge of actual bodily harm against a 14-year-old boy and admitted the possession of a bladed article.

Safi denied two counts of attempted murder concerning the same two individuals during the hearing before the court.
The defendant has not yet entered a formal plea to a charge of murder regarding the death of Wayne Broadhurst, a 49-year-old local resident.
Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC informed the court that the incidents occurred on 27 October in Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge.
The court heard that Safi, an Afghan national with leave to remain in the United Kingdom until 2027, occupied an annexe at the landlord’s property.

It is alleged that the defendant summoned Mr Farrukh to the annexe before attacking him with a large knife, resulting in multiple injuries including a suspected punctured lung.
Mr Broadhurst was subsequently attacked while walking his dog past the scene and sustained approximately 14 stab wounds.
Emergency medical services attended the location but were unable to save the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 17:45.
The 14-year-old victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was treated for injuries to his hands and discharged from hospital on the same day.

The court had previously raised concerns regarding the defendant’s mental health and his capacity to participate in the proceedings.
Defence counsel Richard Jory KC confirmed that two independent psychiatric experts have now deemed Safi fit to stand trial.
The defendant remains remanded in secure custody at Broadmoor Hospital pending further directions from the court.
A further case management hearing has been scheduled for 2 June with a provisional trial date set for 13 July.
