🔴 FIFTH TEENAGER CHARGED IN GOLDERS GREEN JEWISH AMBULANCE ARSON ATTACK
An 18-year-old man has been charged with assisting an offender following a targeted counter-terrorism investigation into a major arson attack that destroyed four volunteer-led Jewish charity ambulances in north London.
Subhan Ahmed, of Walthamstow, east London, is the fifth person to be charged in connection with the fire on March 23, 2026, which tore through fully stocked vehicles belonging to the Hatzola emergency service in Golders Green.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorized the charge following allegations that Mr. Ahmed made illicit arrangements to scrap his car to help others evade arrest or prosecution.

The early-morning blaze caused gas canisters stored inside the ambulances to detonate, inflicting approximately £1 million in damage to the vehicles and vital medical equipment, while also damaging nearby residential flats and a local synagogue.
The Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command alleges that three individuals intentionally set fire to the emergency vehicles while a fourth suspect waited nearby in a blue Toyota Avensis. Prosecutors have stated they believe the incident was a targeted assault against the Jewish community.
Four co-defendants have already been charged with committing arson, destroying or damaging property, and being reckless as to whether life would be endangered. They include Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19, both of Leyton; Judex Atshatshi, 18, of Dagenham; and a 17-year-old boy from Walthamstow who cannot be identified because of his age.
While the four principal suspects have been remanded ahead of a scheduled trial in January 2027, Mr. Ahmed has been granted bail. He is due to make his initial appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
